The first Friday of every month, community members are able to enjoy after-hours access to galleries, deals at restaurants, cafes, and bars, special events with friends and family, or live music and entertainment! The Woskob Family Gallery opens up it's space to local artists who are able to engage with the community for special projects. For the month of April, I was able to facilitate an event called Lay it On at Woskob Family Gallery! Members of the community were invited to engage in a collaborative sculptural/layering project with an array of materials to explore.  Several stations were setup in the gallery to allow visitors the opportunity to add their own personal touches to the collaborative canvases.  Visitors were encouraged to add new dimensions, colors, and materials, creating a community canvas.  Visitors were also invited to bring their own personal creation to life and take it home at the end of the event.
